EFCC reacts to the story of the money-swallowing snake at the JAMB office According to a post made of EFCC’s twitter page, they claim there is no hiding place for a money-swallowing snake. It was reported just yesterday that N36 million was allegedly swallowed by a strange snake at the Benue branch of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board office, the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have however reacted to the news. According to the commission, It will show no mercy to a money swallowing snake. A mystery snake was said to have sneaked into the accounts office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, in Makurdi, the Benue State capital and made away with N36 million cash. Police arrest man, woman for hijacking N2.7m beer in Ogun Member of the robbery gang, Saheed Omotosho, and the receiver of the stolen beer, Mrs. Adijat Azeez, were arrested Two suspects have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command, following the hijacking of a truck-load of lager beer worth N2,714,000, on the highway. It was gathered that the the truck-load of beer coming from Ilesa and headed towards Iragbiji in Osun, which eventually got stolen by gun-wielding robbers,was recovered at Ode-Remo in Ogun State.
